Born in Taranaki Sarah spent many years in the UK where she completed her art education.

Her disciplines have included sculpture, installation and performance  She is currently predominately drawing.

Throughout her practice, Sarah's interest in materiality has seen a wide range of materials used from over-locking thread, felt, nails, cord and wool to sugar cubes.
